Daniel fast Recipe # 1
Since the day begins with breakfast our first recipe is a Daniel fast breakfast recipe for granola.
Daniel fast Granola
Ingredients:
1/4 cup water
1 cup plain oats
1/4 cup dehydrated plums, peaches or prunes (this is up to personal preference)
2 tblspn sunflower seeds
2 tblspn apple juice
Tblspn olive oil
1/4 cup raisins
2 tblspn chopped almonds
2 tblspn pure shredded coconut
Directions:
Puree the dehydrated fruit in a blender or smash it using any cooking utensil at your disposal until the fruit forms a paste. Preheat the oven to between 350-375 ° C. Combine all the ingredients in a baking dish and spread the mixture on a flat baking pan and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown, turn the mixture over during baking to ensure even baking. Allow the mixture to cool and enjoy.
***When not fasting honey can be added for sweetness.
